NCEP 2024 Outcomes

Distribution of Diagnoses
In 2024, 206 persons with a brain injury diagnosis completed the NCEP program:
​
173 individuals with an ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURY graduated from the program
​
56 individuals with a TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY graduated from the program


In 2024, 95% of persons served were able to discharge home independently or with family

The NCEP clinical team works closely with all of our persons served to establish meaningful, person-centered goals that reflect what each individual needs and wants to do to be more independent in their daily lives. In 2024, 94% of all person served goals were attained.
84% of participating persons served in 2024 had a positive improvement in their quality of life scores as measured by the MPAI assessment.
The Mayo-Portland Adaptability Inventory – version 4 (MPAI-4) assesses limitations, activities and participation in individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) in post-acute rehabilitation programs


100% of persons served felt that the staff paid attention to what they said and felt they had the opportunity to make important choices
100% of persons served felt safe at NCEP
100% of persons served felt that their treatment plans and options were explained in language that was easy to understand
100% of all participating families chose "AGREE" or "STRONGLY AGREE" with all the above statements, a 4% increase from 2023.
